Step 3 — Confirm the details. We'll work out the stone, metal, ring size and specifics together, then send an invoice. Payment is due upfront.
Step 4 — We get to work. Once your invoice is paid, your ring takes about 6–10 weeks to make. We'll send a photo before it ships.
A custom ring starts with the stone. Many come from our family's collection, gathered over four generations of rockhounding across the West, including close to home in Idaho and Oregon. We cut each stone by hand and build the setting to fit it, in sterling silver or in jeweler's brass lined with sterling silver for comfort.
Not sure which stone? Most people aren't. Tell us who the ring is for and what they love, and we'll suggest stones that fit.
Wedding and matching rings. We make rings to wear as wedding bands, promise rings or a piece that marks a milestone. We can also cut a ring from the same stone as a bolo tie, belt buckle or hatband so the pieces match.

Yes. Many of our rings are worn as wedding bands, either with a hand-cut stone or as a simple stamped band.
Often, yes. When a slab is large enough, we can cut a ring and a bolo tie, belt buckle or hatband from the same stone. Mention it in the form and we'll let you know what the stone allows.
